Who We Are
Ryan Davis
President, Founder
Ryan is an industry expert, published Biologist, Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI), former professional snowboarder, and highly experienced Project Manager, having managed many public playground and athletic facility projects in addition to biotech and construction projects. He is an over educated father of 2, is married to a teacher, coaches his kids baseball/softball teams, loves riding motorcycles, and making mediocre music. He financed his undergraduate degree (B.S. Biology) with construction work and later transitioned from biotech back into the construction industry, and it was here that he identified a glaring deficiency in safety for athletics and playgrounds.
Regardless of what job he held, it was always imperative for Ryan to do work that had a positive affect on the world. Family, safety, and science are his passions, and there is no where else better for combining these than here at RecShield.
Stephen Lawson
Vice President of Operations, Co-Founder
Stephen is a Marine with four tours of duty (two tours in Irag, two expeditionary). In addition to proudly serving our country, Stephen has nearly two decades experience in safety, hazard identification and analysis, and risk mitigation. Stephen has received expert level training in safety and risk management and has experience working as a contractor on public parks, playgrounds, athletic facilities, and public schools. He partnered with Ryan because of their shared interest and passion for the bettering of the community and overall concern for the safety of all. There are few people more passionate about keeping our community safe that Stephen.
Wendy Rose
Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Co-Founder
Wendy is a Contractor, Franchiser, and business genius. Wendy provides RecShield with some much needed business acumen. Wendy has many years experience growing businesses from half an idea to a large scale, multi-franchise operations with multiple nationally recognized brands. RecShield relies on Wendy to build our business, probably more than we should, but she never lets us down. Her commitment is unparalleled, her guidance is invaluable, her contributions to our business cannot be exaggerated, and we absolutely could not do this without her.
Russel Egli
Vice President and CFO, Co-Founder
Russ is a highly respected attorney with a reputation for taking care of those nobody else will help. He is tremendously generous to everyone lucky enough to call him friend, and we literally would not even have a company without him. He has helped us in all conceivable ways to go from an idea to the company we are. Russ' intelligence and commitment are unmatched. Russ has helped us to find a way to help our communities while running a business. Without his keen intellect and generous nature, our business would be very different than it is, if it existed at all.
